Finances of the Church

The overall responsibility of the finances of the church rests with the Congregation Council and is delegated on a year-by-year basis to the Finance chairman.  The Finance chairman should appoint a Finance Committee that includes the Church Treasurer.  The Finance Chairman and the Treasurer will work closely together to insure that the financial resources of the Church are utilized effectively and that financial obligations are met on a timely basis.  Financial resources of the Church include short-term cash assets, long-term invested (endowment) funds, and debt.
