Worship and Music




The purpose of the Worship and Music Committee is to help the people celebrate their relationship with God and their relationships with one another through the many aspects of meaningful worshipful and thoughtful musical expression. The Worship and Music Committee oversees all activity in the parish in regards to worship services and the music provided therein. In executing these activities, below are specific duties carried out by the committee:

  • Ensure regular and appropriate conduct of: worship services in accordance with appropriate liturgy, and seasonal' and festival services held throughout the year. 
  • Establish and maintain policies, guidelines and/or training for Weddings, Funerals, Ushers, Communion Assistants, Acolytes, and Altar Guild.
  • Plan for acquisition and maintenance of equipment and adornments for worship and of musical instruments that' will enhance the worship experience. 
  • Provide seasonal decorations for the nave and chapel
  • Provide budget needs to the Finance Committee and monitor those needs throughout the church year.
  • Provide an annual report to the congregation.
