“WOW – Women of Wonder” Wonder is a Spiritual Emotion that invites us to be surprised by God’s mystery, to let God be big, to enjoy moments when God fills us and this world with beauty, even when the world around us looks anything but beautiful. Wonder leaves us feeling more connected rather than alone in this world. As Women of the Word and Women of Wonder, we’ll explore the stories of three New Testament Women of the Bible – Phoebe, Anna and Joanna – and discuss how their stories relate to our world today.
Lane grew up in Concord. She graduated from Concord High School, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied Foreign Language and Biblical Studies. After college Lane served our Country in South Vietnam, with the American Red Cross.
